21 And when he had consulted with the people, and appointed singers unto the Lord, and them that should praise him that is in the beautiful Sanctuary, in going forth before the men of arms, and saying, [a]Praise ye the Lord, for his mercy lasteth forever.

22 And when they began to shout, and to praise, the Lord laid ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and [b]mount Seir, which were come against Judah, and they slew one another.

23 For the children of Ammon and Moab rose against the inhabitants of mount Seir, to slay and to destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to [c]destroy another.
